Location:
The Village of New Auburn is centrally located along US Hwy 53
between Eau Claire and Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Rail service is
available from Progressive Rail – Wisconsin Northern Division. A
municipal water and sewer utility services the Village.
Tucked into Chippewa County’s northwest corner on the south edge of
Barron County, New Auburn is a gateway to the Blue Diamond Vacation
Area featuring many resorts and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Chippewa moraine Ice Age Interpretive Center offers a variety of
hands-on learning and access to miles of well- marked trails. Lion’s
Memorial Park features a softball field, pavilion, and playground
equipment. There are several local restaurants for hungry visitors,
and easy access to snowmobile trails and to Duncan Creek for trout
anglers.
Business Climate:
New Auburn is a small village with the desire to attract industry to
employ residents. The Village established an industrial park on the
South side of town in 2008 with easy access to Chippewa County
Highways AA, Q, and SS right off of US 53. They would welcome
industry to the area.
Community Information:
New Auburn is a small up and coming community. They offer a
community setting that would be pleasing to all. As well as a
vacations area the community recommends a school field trip program
through the Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Trail.
